I like this spot for Golden State. They don't often warrant respect but

at home they are above .500 vs the number and the way they can score

can put a lot of pressure on a team like the Clippers who with all thier

injuries may struggle for points. Not that Golden State is going to defend

them because they certainly are not but shot for shot I'll take the home team here.

A very very nice start for those who took the leap of faith yesterday!

Here was yesterdays email:

" In the game between New Orleans and Orlando we have a potential for
two plays

1. In New Orleans / Orlando bet to win 1 unit on OVER 48 for the first quarter. (WIN)

For those of you who are still interested I'll share the details with you. There are 6 spots remaining after yesterday. The investment is only $200 for the remainder of the NBA season.

This is not a chase system of any kind. We make 4 different wagers. I'm not going into the "HOW" but here is the breakdown of their 10 year success rate.

There are 4 Types of wagers we'll be making

1 type bet hits 57%
1 type hits 64%
1 type hits 74%
and 1 type hits 81%

As for money management, I want us to bet higher amounts on the wagers that hit the highest % so those will be outlined in the daily email as 1.5 unit or 2 unit...up to a 3 unit wager.

Hello To all of you. First, I want to say that I'm sorry for being gone so long. It could not be helped. I started a research project and once I really got going on it I didn't want to stop until the end. Then I had to go day by day of this and the past 10 NBA seasons to make sure that what I've discovered is and has stood the test of time.

When I look at the landscape of Sports Betting I see two camps. There are the traditional "Cappers" and there are the "system" Players. The problem with many systems is that you'll have a guy like Morrison whore it out to everyone and it will lose it's value. The sportsbooks aren't just going to roll over and take it in the ass without a fight.

I'm somewhere in the middle. I believe that some systems are a nice guideline but you cant beat this game long term without having some instincts. I've been working on a way to play NBA that you won't see in any forum, you won't read in any book and no one is selling because right now, I'm the only one who knows it and IT'S GOING TO STAY THAT WAY!!

Nba season to date is +117 units. It's sick. I am going to share it with people....let me clarify...I'm going to make it available to 20 people. It's not going to be free. However, I'm not sure what I'm going to charge yet. Don't you hate when a team SUCKS you in? It RARELY happens to me
but the Redskins actually made me believe that with a brain dead
near retarded quarterback that their defense could win that game
for them. I got sucked in hook, line, and sinker. The reality is

matter how you look at it.

Well that was a great hit for all of us with Houston but disappointing that my blog update for yesterday didn't upload. We had the St. Louis Blues +160 who were a nice winner but what can you do with technology???

For today we are going to close our eyes and take the Redskins. I personally think Jason Campbell is one of the worst QB's in the league and a complete butcher at reading defenses, however, the Skins have a great defense themselves and more importantly....the public is all over the Giants but the line is not only NOT moving up but in some places it's actually down....RED FLAG.

Today is Friday in the NBA and that means potential big moneyline dog payoffs.

Sitting high on top of my NBA enigma list is the Dallas Mavs. They cover when they shouldn't and get rolled up when they should win. Today the surprising Rockets come calling. The man has assigned the total kick in the nuts line of -5 so thats often a little indication right there but I think it's worth an investment to take Houston + 210 to win this puppy outright.

Ok....it was good to finish the week on a high note as we had a nice

run going and then threw in that clunker with the Phoenix over.

I still don't understand why everyone liked Denver there but most

people don't understand how to handicap NFL. In the NFL the pointspread

only comes into play about 22% of the time. The winner of the game will

cover 78% of the games and that obviously means you have to pick some

upsets but if you're going to give me a team like Indy and I can buy it

to less than a touchdown favorite.....I'll take it because there was never

a doubt to me that they would win that game so I know that gives me

an 80% chance of a win!

Today we're going to take a shot at a nice price in the NHL......

The LA Kings boast a very nice road record and have beaten some very

very good teams on the road. The price is right to make it worth the

investment.

knew we were done. So we turn the page to NFL Sunday and

Well the last time we all got together the landscape of sports investing online was different. You could call into The Greek and make a phone wager buying 3 points for -170. However, the Greek has said "NO MAS" Now you must buy your points online for a hefty price.

You see, this trend doesn't scare or bother me one bit. Vegas has very limited point buying and thats been the case for years. They saw the massive study done on point buying where in the NBA it was determined that 3 points was actually worth -190 so when you get it at -170 it's a steal. The same study also determined that by offering a 1 point buy the books would actually increase their revenue because the effects of a 1 point buy are actually negative. So they wasted no time putting themselves in the most profitable position.

The offshores will eventually follow suit. People who don't understand how to get their edge and just play systems like the one the crook John Morrison stole and promotes....you people are screwed. Chasers in general are going to be screwed in basketball. In reality it's probably for your own good because I don't know one professional and I mean REAL PRO who's making their living betting games.....who would ever risk 15 units to win 1 unit on a game 3.

As the new era of online sportsbetting is ushered in slowly, it's important that all of you learn to manage your money and do it the right way. There are a lot of good options out there that don't require chasing. Chasers usually don't like this money management method because it's "SLOWER" in getting your money back but I've been using it now for about 6 months and my personal bottom line has improved by 20%.

What a nightmare that was. I don't know how
many of you follow NBA but in Vegas, NBA Fridays
are always known as Freaky Friday because that's
the night you'll catch -10 fav's and big dogs
will win some games outright.

Well for today....I have to stick to my guns
and what I know and I'm personally going with
Stanford as my upset selection of the day.

I'm betting 1 unit at +7.5 or +8 depending on how
high the public takes the line. Then I'm taking
about a 1/4 unit on +240. These aren't pro's and
often in NCAA football when they win such a key
game like USC and crush them they'll fall flat
on their face the next week. It happens to the
best teams and Oregon is no exception.

A very tough break for us on Tuesday as one of our underdog
tennis matches lost but the other was WELL ON HER WAY
to victory and her opponent "retired" which means her
opponent quit. The bad part about that is that all sportsbooks
give you a push / cancel on that situation which is very
unfortunate.

Today it's a little bit early to make a call on tonights
football game but it seems very strange to me that a team
who cant score is favored over Fla State. Looks too easy

Everyone thinks the Rams are due to cover and they may be but
they wouldn't get my money. The Vikings score 34..can the Rams
really put up 24? No. Buffalo...they'll bounce back well this

Ok my Twins to upset the Yankees in game 1 didn't really happen and I accept the laughter and pounding via email that I so truly deserve. I still don't feel like the Yankees could really execute offensively if they were in a tight game but with Minnesota's pitching staff....That probably won't happen.

I'm really looking forward again to a great weekend of football action and we will have one play here on the blog today.

Maybe I'm looking at this game all wrong but I've seen Nevada play and I've seen Louisiana Tech play and Nevada has been total shit on defense. I feel like LA Tech will be able to control the tempo and have a good shot to win this game outright let alone with the +10.5. I know Nevada ran it up on UNLV but they've got to throw more than one good game before I'll call a pig anything but a pig.

When last I posted we caught a tough loss on a total
but I wanted to share some of my thoughts with you guys
now that the MLB playoffs are starting.

I have felt for the entire year that the NY Yankees are
built for the regular season but NOT for the playoffs.

Now I know a lot of you are wondering how the best
team in MLB is not built for the playoffs....

1. Beyond Sebathia their starting pitching is average at
best.

2. The can not execute on the offensive side of the ball...
If they're not hitting home runs they don't score.

Teams with those two ingredients can provide us some
real juicy prices when we fade them. Minnesota is a
great matchup and could create real problems for the
Yanks if their starting pitching was a little stronger but
their pitching troubles could provide the Yankees with
enough long ball to be dangerous.

Today, I'm fading the Yankees and if the Twins starting
pitching can keep this game close and turn it into
a battle of execution...the Twins will win at a price that's
right. Betting the over might be a nice natural hedge.

New Mexico is bad, real bad and Air Force will have no issue scoring 50 if they can and they definately can. Time to clear the air....... A very interesting and diverse set of emails I've received over
the past few days. I've taken the positives and the criticisms in to account and I'm just
going back to my original blog focus for the most part.

Many of you emailed and were interested in some of the games I was playing personally and why in an effort to kind of learn the decision making process and what I'm seeing when I break down a game and that was why I was even going to have those plays tracked. On the other side were the bitchers who didn't want me to do that because it did them no good since they couldn't play the picks. Short sighted....but I can 100% understand. Some people have no interest in learning ...they just want picks. Ok. I really wanted some of the people who asked me "what do you play" or "what kind of money or units can I make in a week" to be able to see what I was playing on a Football weekend or which games I was investing in. Last weekend, Mondays' horrible 0-4 included I made over 10 units which is more than $5,000 so when some of you email with a criticism that my goal is 10k per month and that the blog wasn't making 10k...well OF COURSE NOT. I never said I would make everyone 10k per month by following the blog and making 1 pick per day. This blog was set up to point out what I felt were the best sports investments available. MY GOAL is 10k per month or approx 20 units.

Issue #2.....a few people didn't like that I was making picks available to purchase. To those people...sorry you lose. I receive many emails from people who DON'T want to commit to a program like sports investing group online but they WOULD be interested in purchasing what I feel are the best plays or plays where I PAY good money to get QUALITY information. I pay for that information during football season and I WILL do whatever I want with it.

So taking everything into consideration....I'm no longer putting my personal plays on the blog and I'm going to return to more of what the blog started as. Most of the changes to that original format were based on the emails that I received. The play or plays that I post here will be the best available play that I make that is not part of the service that I'm part of. The one thing that will never change is that I'd never post a play here that I don't have money on. If I wouldn't bet it, I wouldn't recommend it.

As for the availability of the top games with my WIN guarantee. That will still be available to those people who are interested. There will be one available saturday and one available on Sunday. Interested people should email me for details.

Final issue. A few critical emails came in about the fact that I had a bad day Monday and haven't posted since. I haven't posted because I haven't played. I don't OWE anyone a pick every day. If you want to play every day no matter how bad the games are then be my guest but when there are no games that are worth a bet I'M NOT going to just post something. I'm not disappearing or hiding from a bad day. Why would I . ONE DAY DOESN'T MATTER even with that horrible day I made half of my monthly goal last week and that's what matters.....long term success. You have to look at this like a job. Bi-weekly or Monthly. There will be daily ups and downs and if you can't deal with that then you're probably playing too much money relative to your bankroll. So to make crystal clear...If I don't post on this blog that means that as of the cut off time for me to post....7am Pacific, there are no games that I feel are worth a play. If something pops up I will twitter those thoughts to anyone who's following.

As for today....as of right now I am not making a play on the Boise State / Fresno State game. That could change but as of now there is no play.

Yesterdays Recap - What a difference a day makes. We nailed the Yankees. In addition, my personal plays on Sunday were 6-1 with some being at maximum strength to cap a 9-2 weekend and really put the pedal to the metal picking up 18+ units over the weekend. In addition the Special Information Play on Sunday was the Philadelphia Eagles -2.5(38-10 WIN) that was over by halftime and a very easy winner.

Since Cappers Watchdog doesn't feel that blog owners deserve to be tracked I've turned to My Handicapper.com as they will monitor my personal plays. Now before those of you who are part of the sports investing group online are wondering why you didn't have 6 plays today....again some of these are decisions I'm making based on information received 5-10 minutes before kick where there is no way to get that information out. I tried desperately to initiate an email for the Green Bay game but there was no way it could get delivered in time to make a bet so I had no choice but to pass.

The only thing I can think of is if you set your device options on Twitter so you'll get a text each time I post....when I get picks where there is no way to get them out in an efficent manner, I'll put some of my personal plays on Twitter as we move forward.

Todays Plays - I'm going to stay with MLB Today as the Football games don't provide much value. San Diego Chargers have been dreadful underachievers but I'd have to light myself on fire before I'd bet on the Raiders. I need to see how New England is going to mesh but on the other hand how in the hell is Buffalo going to score? New England if you can get it at 9.5 or buy it may be worth a whirl but a little high for my taste unless I get other information. So I'm sticking with my man Feldman for Texas. His 0.54 ERA in his last 3 is just what the doctor ordered with Texas being at home where they are so strong. I won't lay -200 but I will do the runline at -105 as I think that represents GREAT value.

Football Season - With MLB winding down and with all the AAA call ups it's
only going to make bullpens more inconsistent. We may occasionally have some MLB plays but we're starting to move our focus to football season.

I want to explain to everyone how football is going to work. I will still provide free information on this blog, that's not going to change. However, for football I pay a lot of money out of my pocket for VERY exclusive information. Football is the one sport where information can make a big difference. When I was at my previous employer, these plays were often Game of the Year type material. Now, I don't believe in that crap so that's one reason why I'm not there anymore.

Todays Play(s) - I finally have a new computer so I shouldn't be missing any
more days. Not much today and many of you will think I've lost my mind but
there is only one play today from the most unlikely source. The Washington Nat's
The Nat's can hit. I know the Cubs have Zambrano on the mound but to be
honest there is a reason he has never won more than 14 or 15 games. He's out
of shape and he's a clown. Two bad attributes to have as a pitcher. Make sure you
bet this on ACTION in case Zambrano scratches at the last minute again. I'm
playing 1/2 my bet on ACTION on the money line and 1/2 on the runline

and total the only side that is investment worthy is St. Louis. I know San

not wild about Pineiro but the Cards should out slug the Padres.

Tuesday Recap - The blind squirrel finally found a nut. Actually we finally
played a team with a manager who KNOWS WHAT THE FU** HE'S DOING
Notice how Bobby Cox goes right to his QUALITY bullpen guys even with a
4 run lead...not F'n around with his hack squad. That's how you prevent from
getting blown up for 6 runs in the 8th, Florida, hope you paid attention.

Todays Play(s) - We do have what I feel is a real strong play today.
Texas, a very good team, has been a little beat up by Oakland....not a real
good team. They've got Hunter on the mound today who aside from
Millwood is probably their best and Cahill has been really roughed up
as of late. I like the matchup and like the price...lets get our second win
in a row and head into a big weekend.

Tuesday Recap - If there is anyone colder than me right now....I'd love
to see it. Amazing...I told you all bullpens suck but for Johnson to be so
completely dominant and then that gas packing pen to give up not 1 or 2
but 6 runs in the 8th....there isn't a thing you can do other than play first 5's

Todays Play(s) - I got quite a few emails yesterday and thanks to those
of you who sent the "keep your chin up" type and actually google accidentally
removed the blog yesterday for a few hours and I got several "why
did you quit emails" My personal goal each month is to make 10k. July I made
about 6k...the first 4 days of August have been like getting kicked in the face
with a steel toed Kodiak work boot. ...It happens though. I don't care how good
you are....it happens. By the end of August we should be + nearly $10,000 on here
so I anticipate a good run. Sometimes how you do is just a matter of decision. I liked
3 games yesterday and played the one that lost. That sucks but it will even out
and there will be times when I would have been 1-4 but played my only winner
too. Today, literally the only matchup I like is the Braves over San Diego.
I'm following my money management program. Keep in mind that my base bet is usually only 1-2% of my bankroll so I'm not sweating any of these plays. If you keep your
base wager reasonable you'll be able to properly manager your
money and not be nervous about the plays.

Jimenez has been very strong lately and Cincy is in a bit of free fall. It
will be warm and the ball should fly out of park in Cincinnati with Colorado
doing most of the damage. Next, the Yankees nearly had the best record in
baseball until they made a visit to "The Cell" I like this matchup....look
for the yanks to get the job done here.

Sunday Recap -Went as planned....Texas eventually wore down

the Royals and I give a big thumbs up to Nippert who came in for

Millwood in the 3rd and did a fantastic job.

Todays Play(s) - Today we're going back to a Kansas City game

but once again it's a FADE of the Royals....Baltimore is one of the

best hitting home teams in the league and K.C. is trotting out Mr. Chen

who is very adept at getting hit very hard. Looks like a great match.

Don't get me wrong...Baltimore has a gas can on the hill as well, no pun

intended, but the O's should be able to out slug the Royals here.

and look at the Texas Rangers. Texas has been playing well
as of late and the opposite can be said of K.C. Now, the value
in this play is that Millwood has a 7 ERA in his last 3 but he
wen't through a little lul and I feel like his form is on the up
and I NEVER feel like Ponson has any form so to me this
feels like a good value on the visiting Rangers.

Friday Recap -If Kevin Gregg isn't one of the worst relief
pitchers in all of MLB I don't know who is. The Cubs got the
job done for us yesterday putting another unit in our pockets
despite Gregg doing his best to piss it away. A win is a win and
we'll take it!

Todays Play(s) - We have a nice little matchup today. Colorado,
one of the hottest teams in MLB vs San Francisco....a good team
but on the road they're not so hot. On the hill for San Fran is
Sanchez who is winless on the road and Coors launch pad
probably isn't the place you get your first win. De La Rosa has
been solid lately and this feels like a good bet on a day where
most of the Matchups are ho-hum or -230.

Thursday Recap -Well back on the winning track and
it feels good as the Cardinals get a rain shortened victory
to add 500 back to where it belongs....in our pockets!

Todays Play(s) -Ok we do have a play today and starting
today I want to start adding to our program. We've had
good success here picking out the best one or two investments
each day, however, I haven't really included any kind of money
management along with the picks and starting today and moving
forward I am going to do that so our bet sizes may vary
but in reality over the same period of time with 18 wins
and 9 losses I'm personally up double what the amount is
on the blog here so I'm going to add in the money management
aspect so hopefully we can all make more money.

First, I hope a lot of you had a chance to see the perfect
game. Amazing! For today we're going to Chicago to
see if the Cubs can do something right for a change.

This is a very favorable matchup for them and Randy Wells
has kept them in nearly every game he's started. The price
is right and that's what makes this a solid investment.

play status again..... We'll take a visit to "The Cell" in Chicago but

we're going to play the visiting Tampa Rays. For the Rays, Niemann has

been very consistent in keeping his team in the game. Then you

take a look at the line for Clayton Richard in his last start he

went 1 inning....6 Earned Runs. He's been on the downward

slide while Niemann has been very sharp. Add to that the fact

that Tampa is really a better team and now you have something!

Sunday Recap -A nice winner with St. Louis. No one said it would be

easy.....and that's why I told those of you who emailed that I was NOT

recommending the runline. Baseball is a funny sport....sometimes you

can predict the winner but predicting the score is very tough. I was just

happy to get out with a nice unit to the good.

I do like Atlanta. They are very solid offensively but wait...

they're facing Mr. No Hitter>> So what. The guy has a 5.09 ERA

after his no hitter so that tells you how bad he was before the

stars aligned and the wind was blowing in at home making all

fly balls die. That's not the case in Atlanta, oh and did I mention

that Mr. No No is a cool 0-7 on the road? He is... so get your

tomahawks and lets all do "The Chop"

see if the line would come up. Truthfully it probably won't matter. In his
last start Y. Petit beat us on the first 5 vs Florida and his bullpen got
completely blown to pieces by the Marlins. Today, I look for him to
return to reality and get shelled. On the Cardinals side, Pinero has been
a very pleasant surprise and I like the Cards to take the rubber game
of this 3 game set! The line just came out at -215....basically what I expected.

Kershaw has been real good as of late and LA is one of the top

home teams in MLB.

Our second play is down in Texas. The Rangers are one of the

best home teams and Minnesota is one of the bottom on the road.

A good pitching matchup and a nice price certainly makes the

Rangers worth an investment.

Thursday Recap - Frustration.....I'm not mad that Simon lost,

that's not the frustration....When I first did the blog yesterday

I had I. Benesova from the WTA but realized that everyone

would get the email with about 10 min to put the match in so

I went to plan B and that was going to give everyone about 30

min. Of course A and B won and plan C, which I did like and

play, lost. Disappointing but not discouraging as we will get

on a real nice run here....I still want to be on the + side of $5000

by months end as a bare minimum.

Todays Play(s) - We're back to MLB today. One of the most

consistent starters in the 1st half was Felix Hernandez. Cleveland

is not very good but more importantly no matter which of their

starters they throw is a bad matchup with Hernandez and then

just add in that their bullpen is awful and you have the right

mix. One of my books will let me choose Both or SINGLE listed

I just picked Single because I just want to make sure Hernandez

Saturday Recap - That's why we play it "listed
pitchers" About 10 people emailed asking what to
do when they changed from Anderson to Braden..
I told them what I'd have told everyone that it's not
a good investment going against Braden and especially
not at that price so take the cancelled bet and move on.

This brings me to a point I want everyone to understand.
The email that gets sent is not sent by me. It's sent by
feedburner and it only goes out one time per day at about
7:07am Pacific. So people ask me why don't I just email
everyone when there is a pitcher change.....the truth
is that I can't...well I could but You'd get it the next day
in the morning. The only thing I can say is to
check the blog and I'll try to update but for the most
part if we play a game with listed pitchers and their
is a pitching change....our play is done unless otherwise
specified.

Today's Play(s) - Since the last week of MLB is pretty
much a crap shoot anyway, we do have a worthy investment,
however, it comes from the WNBA. In the Chicago vs Seattle
matchup, the total should be about 148. The line opened at
138. Either the linemakers are giving early Christmas presents or
someone in the know has hit the under very very hard thus the
sportsbooks need some love on the over which they will surely get.
It makes our play even better that the public has hopped full in on the over
driving it up to 140 already. Our play is UNDER 140.

This is a night game so I would wait to bet as we may get 141 or even 142
I'll update the line on the blog if it goes over 140

Friday Recap - Sometimes if it were not for bad luck
we'd have no luck at all. Yesterday we got a push. It
didn't cost us anything but with Oswalt on cruise
control he hurt his hand at the end of the 6th and then
went out to start the 7th where he had to come out and
the pen allowed the Nats to put up a 4 spot which
cost us our jackpot. No harm though...just a day
off the calender.

Today's Play(s) - Today I'm flying blind. I really
like the matchup of Garza vs Anderson in the favor
of Tampa Bay. Problem is that I have NO IDEA what
the line is. I can't find another game that I like and
I'm constrained by time as I have to get this entry
in on time or the email won't get sent. So I'm going
to guess that Tampa is -200 and go from there.

Thursday Recap - Well wasn't that a peach. That game was
the exact opposite of what I thought. Petit threw 5 scoreless
for the first time all year I believe and then Florida
proceeds to score about 75 runs on the Arizona pen...I guess
I outsmarted myself on that one.

Today's Play(s) - Today I'm coming right back with what
I think is the biggest mismatch at the best price. There are
some other games that appear to be mismatched but with
Washington / Houston we've got the worst road team against
what could be argued as the N.L's hottest pitcher. In
addition, Houston's bats have come to life and no staff better
than Washington to keep them hot! We're going for a double
dip on this one....
